haha I remember when I was a kid and trying to explain everything away. I thought I was so damn clever. Now either I was a damn good liar or Grace is just terrible [okay she's 5, she'll get better I realize this], because I know things she does in other rooms when I'm not there. It's like a psychic link. Anywho babble. Sorry. =)

When I was a teenager I knew that my parents partied, and when they caught me partying at a really young age I totally yelled at them and was like, "Well YOU GUYS DO IT TOO!" And my dad was all matter of fact and said, "Yeah, but we're successful adults. You haven't even graduated high school." And I felt like a tard. Then when I was in my twenties my parents started letting me party with them and it was unbelieveable and we've been great friends ever since. It sounds like you're handling things the same way and I think that's great - it certainly worked out well for my family.

Ha, I could not help at laugh at Butthead. That is classic. I remember when I was a teenager, I used to try so hard to hide that I was smoking pot from my mom, but she always knew. She even made me get tested at my gyno when I was around 15. I had to admit to him that I had tried it. It was humiliating. Her only SERIOUS problem with it (besides the obvious reasons parents would be upset as well) was that apparently I was a gigantic bitch on weed. I was also on antidepressants at the time, so perhaps they were interacting? I have no idea. You must be one cool mom, though. I mean, Butthead basically admitted to you that he smoked pot, and he talks to you about that sort of thing! xoxo - me

I never did anything wrong like that when I was a kid....I KNEW I would get busted. It royally sucked. I couldn't get away with anything! Eventually I just decided to waite until I was out of my parents house to be bad - muwahahahaha! Anywho, glad to hear she is feeling better. Always scary when kids get sick and there are all those weird rumors flying around.
