My favorite cold weather shoes (after you pry the sandals from my long-frozen toes) are my Keds clogs. They are black suede(ish - I don't know). They have the thin Keds soles and are very comfortable. Also - I shoud be more embarrassed to admit it, but I have been known to pull on toe socks with my birks...

Me again - I just checked and they don't appear to make those anymore but they have some similar ones (though they don't look as awesome as the ones I have), but I can't believe i forgot my most favorite fall shoes ever - my sole-less mocs (which I am going to go order right now). They are like wearing no shoes at all, only with much less frostbite.

I was really depressed after I read "A Child Called It" a couple of years ago. It made me even sadder to see that actual guy on Oprah. I hate Oprah - she is always trying to depress people!

Anyway, I think it is so cute (I know it is annoying for you) that Mickey goes around singing "Me so horny!" HAHA I would crack up so hard if I heard him. xoxo - me

Will he love you long time? I've never read that book but I am now scared of it.

If you find a winter version of flip-flops, I NEED to see a picture! You know you're looking for the impossible when you can't find it at DSW. Seriously, you found about a dozen other things you liked, right? As for me, I like funky shoes-the funkier, the better. Not that I would wear them, but I nearly squealed out loud today at Fashion Bug when I saw a pair of white fur boots! Yeah, I'm lame.

I don't give up my open-toed shoes until at least the first snowfall - maybe later. I refuse to give in to winter! and no wake and bake for you? lol! I don't mind wake and bake once in a while - like on a Sunday when I don't have any plans. That's the best. Just VEGGING all day. :)
