There is this whole sub culture of people that cut and think it's beautiful and amazing. THen they post pictures of it on the internet. It's scary because you could get a disease or an infection. Oh and being troubled is bad too. It really does sound like she has something to hide by cancelling all those appointments. It's pretty shady.

I love "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and some people just shouldn't be parents. Hilda's mom sounds like a complete bitch.

I would leave this as a note except I'm not signed into dland and I'm too lazy to do so, given that I'm on dial up at the moment....but I just have to ask, what did you think my last entry meant? You can leave a pink note ;-)

Also, good luck with the Hilda situation. See, you're not a bad person, I told ya so!

I have a couple of friends who are cutters. But, I always wondered about the seriousness of it, or if they were doing it to get attention, because both of them showed their cuts to me "secretly." From what I understand from a psychological point of view, REAL cutters hide it like a treasure that they are ashamed of and never show anyone. But, the girl definitely needs counseling, and as much as she gets on your nerves, I think being with you and hub more will do her a lot more good than being with her own mother who seems to care shit about her. Good luck. xoxo - me
