So, I'm hispanic just in case you think I'm being racist in a bit. But My dad used to hire wetbacks all the time. They're reliable, cheap and far more skilled then most people think. I don't really like the fact of illigals being in the country, considering how hard it was for my family to come here legally, but if you want cheap labor that's usually the way to go. *hugs* X

Actually, I've always found Polish people I've worked with to be much harder workers than anyone else. I worked with two in a job I had a few years back and had to train them how to work slowly and less accurately at their jobs because they were making me look bad. Smashxxx

Jackie, I love your "look what I found today in the garden" stories. Often, I wonder if the bugs in your own background are prehistoric creatures! Things I have never heard of! It's fascinating! Especially when you post pics! (Hint, hint). LOVE YOU! xoxo - me

Heh heh - I married into a Polish family. It's so extreme, they either work their asses off...or they're lazy jackholes. Oh! Did you know our crying indian was actually an Italian dude? Look it up, I swear I'm not lying! Also...I hate 98% of kids that aren't mine because they don't know what please and thank you mean among all the reasons you listed. They're going to grow up into serious assholes, and I won't put up with them when I'm an old lady and they're middle management at mickey d's either!

I'm not too big on kids either. I think I must be suffering from early-onset crotchetiness or something, but the little bastards drive me up a tree. This from a person who had one of the brattiest little kids ever (in spite of my best efforts, honest!) Oh, and the littering thing baffles me too. I'm shocked at how much trash is lying all over the place around here. I thought maybe it was being in a different place from where I grew up, but maybe it is just kids these days. It's sad, I hate seeing the earth turned into a slum.

You are so right about kids. Their "the world owes me" attitude leaves a lot to be desired. Can you imagine us talking to our elders, much less, our parents, the way they talk to theirs? Oh hell no! I'd have been slapped into next week, and when I recovered, I'd have been given a months' worth of chores to do in three days. Parents today, for the most part, are clueless.

I think teaching about not littering went to the wayside since now they have to focus on teaching them to not bring weapons to school or to not do heroin during recess and to not to get knocked up at 8 years old. fucking kids. Don't get a Mexican - I hear they're lazy bastards..lol I love woodpeckers...we have one that likes to peck at the phone pole in our yard and he's LOUD! So cool though.
